Toddler Tamil
First Tamil classes for young children: toddlers (up to 4) and nursery (age 5).
Tamil School starts with the youngest learners. The toddlers’ class is for children up to age 4. Nursery is for age 5. From Reception onwards, children are placed by Tamil ability, not only by English school year.
Classes are on Sundays at Wembley High Technology College, East Lane, North Wembley, HA0 3NN, as part of London Tamil Centre Tamil School (Registered Charity 1018333).
Mother-tongue Tamil is the core of Sunday morning (about 9.30am to 11.00am). Lessons are friendly and age-appropriate, so children grow in confidence with speaking, listening and early literacy. Parents of toddlers often stay on site; adult Fine Arts classes run at the same time.
New families usually apply from the end of May for a September start. You can register a child online and we will place them in the right Tamil class.
