Thirukkural Competition
Annual Thirukkural competition. பிரிவு from date of birth (English school year).
London Tamil Centre holds a Thirukkural (திருக்குறள்) competition for Tamil School pupils. It is listed on the school calendar. Parents add a child from Family → Events after signing in, until the apply-by date (usually five days before the event unless the school sets another date).
பிரிவு is taken from the child’s English school year using date of birth and the 31 August cutoff used in England: அ Toddlers/Nursery, ஆ Reception/Year 1, இ Years 2–3, ஈ Years 4–5, உ Years 6–7, ஊ Years 8–9, எ Years 10–11. Staff can correct the year if needed.
Recent competitions have been held at Wembley High School in the morning. Read the event page in the parent portal for the venue, time and apply-by date. Results are published under News.
